Programme

Zone Cluster was established by leading Hungarian infocommunication technology, electronics, UTM aviation, and automotive companies, with the goal of institutionally connecting research, development and innovation capacities in the field of intelligent transport systems. The activity of the cluster is focused on Hungary, but involves regional (Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia) countries and European Union countries as well.

The third and final mission of REMOBILISE will take place between 15th and 17th of November, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary.

This time, we are inviting SMEs and start-ups to explore the local ecosystem, build relationships and learn from each other. The mission will include high-level interventions, pitching sessions, networking, site visits and a training session, all built around the governing topic of Electromobility and related advancements in the area.

Day 2

The core business of VOLÁNBUSZ is a scheduled public bus transport service, ensuring that the passengers can travel to work, school, and vital institutions on a daily basis. Efficient operations and high-quality service are the result of the combined efforts of some 17,500 colleagues, including about 10,500 actual bus drivers. At a national level, we ensure daily, direct and regular links between the county seats, the most important regions and tourist destinations and the capital city. Since January 2021, VOLÁNBUSZ has been owned by MÁV Zrt. As a result of the unified strategic management of the two transport companies, coordinated development of rail and road passenger transport services are being implemented.

Electrobus Europe was founded in 2018, as a cooperation between IKARUS, with more than 120 years of bus manufacturing experience, and CRRC, a world leader in the production of railway superstructures to serve the customers’ needs at the highest level.

At Electrobus only electric buses are sold and self-propelled chassis for production cooperation, compatible electric chargers, and customized energy solutions designed and manufactured in Hungary.

It is Bosch’s one of the largest development centers in Europe in terms of staff numbers, with around 3,000 experts. The Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus is home to 14,000 square meters of instrumented research and test laboratories, a special outdoor test track and a high-tech giant test hall. The new Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus plays a key role in the development of electromobility and automated driving solutions of the Bosch Group.
