On 25.07.2022, the Mobility & Logistics Cluster invited a delegation from the Pilsen region to the Cluster Twinning in the TechBase. The aim of the meeting was to exchange experiences in cluster development and operation. 

To this end, the Cluster Mobility & Logistics first presented its own cluster services, structure, success stories and activities in the area of networking, funding scouting and international cooperation. Particularly noteworthy is the ClusterXchange pilot programme to support transnational short-term exchanges – similar to ERASMUS for industry – to better connect Europe’s industrial ecosystems. Within the framework of the EU project REMOBILISE, financial support can be obtained for this. The presentation of the Regensburg cluster ecosystem was concluded by Andrea Wöhrl, Cross Innovation Manager of the City of Regensburg. 

After a joint lunch, Alexander Rupprecht, Managing Director of R-Tech GmbH, gave a tour of the TechBase. The afternoon was otherwise used for an introduction of the Pilsen participants (Regional Development Agency in the Pilsen Region, Klastr MECHATRONIKA, z.s., Czech Technical University in Prague, Plzeňský kraj), exchanging views on similarities and differences in cluster structure and policy, and talking about potential joint projects. 

A visit to Plzeň is planned in the autumn to deepen the common topics that have already been identified.
