MOBINOV is a competitiveness cluster in the automotive industry, which aims to promote the convergence of various players in the national automotive industry, including global manufacturers and suppliers present in Portugal, national suppliers, associations and knowledge centers and universities, around an ambitious action plan and structured in programs aimed at the development of the industry.
The REMOBILISE project organizes its second mission, where the aim is the discovery of an ecosystem and its economic actors, visit of major sites and participation in the training session Scenario Building URBAN MOBILITY. The mission brings together 10 cities to learn about the implementation of innovative mobility solutions in micromobility, active mobility, policy-making, etc.

INESC TEC is dedicated to scientific research and technological development, technology transfer, advanced consulting and training, and pre-incubation of new technology-based companies. As an institution that operates at the interface between academia and the business world, bringing together academia, business, public administration and society, INESC TEC typically applies the knowledge and results generated within the scope of its research in technology transfer projects, seeking the creation of value and immediate social relevance.

15h00: Visit to a Technology and Innovation Center: CCG (Guimarães)
CCG provides technological innovation consulting services, laboratory services, contract research and development, and corporate and specialized training. With a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, the CCG/ZGDV has four R&D departments: CVIG (Computer Vision, Interaction and Graphics), EPMQ (IT Engineering – Process, Data, Maturity, and Quality), HTIR (Human Technology Interaction and Robotics), UMC (Urban and Mobile Computing) – which present themselves as specialized operational units, in the scientific domains in which they act and in the different value propositions of the technologies they develop.

9.30: Training Session – Scenario Building: URBAN MOBILITY by Porto Business School
Goals of this session:
Understand how cities have evolved and which challenges are more complex;
Identify the major problems that impact urban mobility nowadays;
Perceive the current scenario about technologies and smart cities initiatives for urban mobility;
Discuss the mobility plans of a city based on smart city technologies and successful use cases;
Describe some of the expected development trends for smart city mobility.
